Quiz: Can you name all 44 two-time Rugby World Cup winners?

In our latest quiz, we challenge you to name the illustrious list of players who have won the William Webb Ellis Cup on more than one occasion.

There have been ten editions of the Rugby World Cup, with just three nations winning the tournament on more than one occasion.

Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand have all won the tournament on multiple occasions, with the Springboks and All Blacks being the only teams winning back-to-back World Cups.

Throughout the years, a remarkable 44 players have won the tournament on more than one occasion, with the first group of stars to have achieved the feat coming from Australia’s 1991 and 1999 campaigns.

A South African became the sixth player to win two World Cups before a host of All Blacks were able to do so.

Overall, 25 Springboks have won two World Cups, 14 All Blacks and five Wallabies.

Meanwhile, only two players have successfully captained their country to two Rugby World Cup titles and both played the same position.

26 of the 44 players have won two Rugby World Cups, with the remaining 18 playing in the backline for their country.

The youngest player to claim two World Cup winners’ medals achieved the feat at the 2023 tournament in France, starting the final at the age of just 25.
